Excel to Shopify CSV Converter

Upload your webinar attendee Excel file to convert it to Shopify customer import format

Select the webinar date. This will be used to create the tag (e.g., webinar-2025-11-05)

Instructions:

  1. Select the webinar date using the date picker (required)
  2. Upload your webinar attendee Excel file
  3. Click download to get the Shopify CSV
  4. Import CSV into Shopify via Customers > Import (overwrite existing is safe — no tags in CSV)
  5. Run the Mechanic "Webinar Tag + Order" task — it adds the webinar tag (without deleting existing tags) and creates free orders
Why no Tags column? Shopify CSV import overwrites ALL existing tags. By removing the Tags column, existing customer tags are preserved. The Mechanic task uses the tagsAdd mutation which safely adds the webinar tag without removing anything.
